Is Podgorica worth visiting?
Absolutely. While less touristy than the coast, Podgorica offers the most authentic Montenegrin experience — excellent restaurants, wine culture, and easy access to Skadar Lake and the Morača Canyon. It's also significantly cheaper than coastal cities.
What is the best time to visit Podgorica?
Spring (April–June) and autumn (September–October) are ideal. Summers can be very hot (35°C+), while winters are mild but rainy. The wine harvest season in September is particularly special.
